She carries Certification in Orff Schulwerk from West Chester University in addition to Choral Music Experience Teacher Education, Kodàly Certification, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. Michelle teaches in Orff Schulwerk Certification Programs at Villanova University PA, Gordon College, MA and Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory, OH. |
"Her involvement with the American Orff Schulwerk Association includes service on the National Board of Trustees, the Orff Echo Editorial Board and locally, with the Philadelphia Area Chapter–AOSA. "Michelle holds a BS degree in Music Education from Chestnut Hill College, and a Masters in Music Education degree from West Chester University, PA. As an adjunct faculty member, Michelle teaches at The University of the Arts, and Chestnut Hill College offering courses in music education topics and Elementary Music Methods. She has presented workshops nationally and in Taiwan in the areas of Orff Schulwerk, Kodàly and Assertive Discipline. "Michelle free-lances as a harpist and performs with the Old York Road Symphony and the Bryn Athyn Orchestra.
